Based on the tale of S. Marshak
The performance is based on the tale in verse of the well-known writer Samuil Marshak, which was in turn based on one Russian folk tale. Perhaps, only these simple works of the Russian folklore can give children an idea of what is kindness and friendship, honesty and justice, courage and resourcefulness. The most important thing is that all these qualities are cultivated in children.
Marshak put the characters of different tempers into a small house. Due to patience and attention to each other the Frog, the Mouse, the Cock and the Hedgehog happily lived together and every animal had its own duties. However in this fairy tale there were also some other characters who wanted to break the happy life of the inhabitants of Teremok: the Bear, the Wolf and the Fox who wanted to destroy Teremok and steal the Cock. They were thinking only about themselves and acted in their own interests only, that’s why their wicked plan collapsed. This is a fairy tale about how the kindness and friendship can win the victory over the negative power and cunningness.
